IMO Facilitation of international maritime traffic and transport paper version
IMO publications dedicated to the facilitation of maritime traffic in paper format bring together international references relating to formalities, declarations, and procedures for the arrival, stay and departure of ships, as well as the movement of crew members, passengers and cargo. They are notably based on the FAL Convention and its explanatory documents. This documentation concerns port calls in the English Channel and North Sea, around the ports of Dunkirk, Le Havre, Rotterdam and Antwerp, as well as routes across the Bay of Biscay, Atlantic Ocean, Mediterranean Sea, Red Sea, Indian Ocean and Pacific Ocean. It complements nautical charts and publications from SHOM, ADMIRALTY, and national hydrographic offices. IMO FAL references in paper format are relevant to merchant marine officers, shipowners, shipping agents, shipping companies, fleet managers, maritime schools and port professionals.
