Fire safety logbook

The Fire Safety Logbook category brings together registers used to document inspections, drills and operations relating to fire safety on board ships. They can be used to record tests of alarms, fire detectors, extinguishers, fixed fire-extinguishing systems, fire pumps, fire doors and firefighting equipment, as well as evacuation and emergency drills. These documents support traceability of safety checks and help prevent fire-related risks on board. They are particularly suitable for merchant ships, passenger ships, ferries, fishing vessels and professional yachts subject to SOLAS requirements, especially Chapter II-2 and the Fire Safety Systems Code. This documentation is intended for Masters, deck officers, safety officers, crews, shipowners and fleet managers looking for a reliable fire safety logbook to record inspections and drills. It also supports the preparation of onboard inspections, audits and regulatory controls concerning fire prevention, detection, firefighting systems and emergency preparedness.
