Dutch Hydrographic Office river chart
Dutch Hydrographic Office (DHO) inland waterway charts are designed for navigation on the waterways of the Netherlands and for planning routes through a particularly dense network of rivers, canals, lakes and port areas. They provide useful cartographic information for identifying channels, buoyage, bridges, locks, ports, marinas, moorings and access routes to major inland navigation areas. They can be used around Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht and Dordrecht, as well as on major routes connecting Dutch ports with the wider European inland waterway network. A DHO inland waterway chart helps navigators plan a route, identify technical passages and understand the layout of Dutch waterways. These charts are intended for recreational boaters, navigators and crews using inland waterways or navigating coastal areas in the Netherlands. They complement regulatory information and other nautical publications required for accurate voyage planning on Dutch inland waterways and around major Dutch ports.
