Updating Navionics Charts

• When purchasing a new chart
  • A new chart includes one year of free updates.
  • All Navionics charts sold by us are up to date and ready to use with your plotter.
  • Upon receiving your chart, follow the enclosed instructions to activate free updates via the Navionics website using the supplied USB adapter.
  • Update validity begins from the date the chart is programmed, so activation should be done upon receipt.

Since 2014, Navionics has released hundreds of thousands of updates, including improvements to coastlines, depth contours, buoys, sandbanks, rocks, submerged structures, and points of interest. Keeping your charts updated is essential for safe navigation.

Updating an Older Chart

• If your chart’s free update period has expired, you can still refresh it by purchasing an update chart — usually available at 50% off the price of a new chart, under the following conditions:
  • Purchase an update version of the desired chart on our e-shop (not a new chart).
  • Provide the serial number of your old chart when ordering so it can be deactivated.
  • We will then send your replacement chart.

Since 2019, Navionics has increased the capacity of its memory cards. It is therefore important to verify chart compatibility with your device.
All marine charts are made to order and include the latest updates. Due to obsolescence risks, they are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.

• When ordering, please specify the brand, model, year, and reference of your device or software in the text box next to the shipping options. We will verify compatibility. Without this information, this step will not be performed.

All marine charts, whether paper or digital, are custom-produced with the latest data. In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that may quickly become obsolete. Therefore, these purchases are final and non-refundable once the order is placed.
