DHNE nautical charts are compulsory on board all boats passing through the Suez Canal. Navigation in the Suez Canal must only be done with the SC1, SC2 and R11 nautical charts.

Consequently, inspections by the Egyptian navy may be carried out in order to verify that you have on board your boat the SC1, SC2 and R11 nautical charts, no boat passing through the Suez Canal can avoid this obligation.

The SC1, SC2 and R11 nautical charts on board the boat must be later than August 6, 2015.
