Star Identifier

For a global navigation.

It allows:

• to determine the region of the celestial sphere visible at a given moment, in a place of observation determined but any.
• to identify a visible star.
• to find the position in the sky of a known star.
• to determine approximately the height and azimuth of any star.
• to position the celestial hemisphere North or South, on a given day at the local time or by SG.

It's made of :

• 1 plate, representing the background of the sky graduated recto-verso.
• 2 discs representing the star map for the northern and southern hemispheres.
• 1 set of 7 grids representing latitudes North and South from 5° to 65° every 10°.
