Following the construction of the new Suez Canal, the Suez Canal Authority together with the Hydrographic Department of the Egyptian Navy produced three nautical charts to help sailors navigate safely through the new Suez Canal.
These are :
SC1, Suez Canal
SC2, Suez Canal
R11, Suez Canal
These charts are compulsory on board all vessels passing through the Suez Canal. Navigation in the Suez Canal must only be done with the SC1, SC2 and R11 nautical charts.
Consequently, inspections by the Egyptian navy may be carried out in order to verify that you have on board your boat the SC1, SC2 and R11 nautical charts, no boat passing through the Suez Canal can avoid this obligation.
The SC1, SC2 and R11 nautical charts on board the boat must be after August 6, 2015.
ENHD nautical charts are suitable for navigation for yachtsmen and merchant marine professionals. With these documents, you will be able to navigate many miles with your pleasure boat, discover wonderful anchorages, go coastal or offshore sailing.
All nautical charts, paper or digital, are edited to order and benefit from the latest updates. In accordance with the provisions of Article L221-28 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for the supply of goods likely to be obsolete quickly. These charts are neither taken back nor exchanged. Consequently, these orders are concluded definitively as soon as the order is placed by the Customer according to the methods specified in these GCS.
